Building at Auction damaged by
blaze Asbury Park Press: http://www.app.com MANALAPAN: Fire damaged one of the four buildings at Englishtown Auction Monday night, police said. A fire alarm from the auction's brown building was received shortly before 9:30 p.m. Monday, said police Lt. Glenn Essner. Essner said that firefighters had the blaze under control within about 20 minutes. He said no one was injured and officials were at the scene trying to determine how the fire started. The brown building is one of four buildings at the auction that hold merchants' booths. Essner said there was no word Monday night on how much merchandise was damaged, if any. |
