Two are injured in collision at intersection

EAST WINDSOR -- A three-car crash at the intersection of Route 33 and Route 133 left two people injured yesterday morning, police reported.

A Ford pickup driven by Richard Lyden, 48, of Lawrence, struck a Mercedes Benz driven by Na netta Malone, 46 of Millstone, police said. The truck continued on and hit a Nissan driven by 53-year-old Frank Ferlise of Hamil ton.

Lyden did not report being in jured in the 7:30 a.m. collision, police said, but Malone suffered a chest contusion and was taken to Centra State Medical Center in Freehold by paramedics. Police said Ferlise had to be removed from his car by East Windsor and Hightstown firefighters, and was taken by ambulance to Robert Wood Johnson at Hamilton.
