House Fire in Eastampton

Eastampton Township (Burlington)--On July 21, 2009 firefighters responded to numerous calls reporting house fire. First arriving units find a two story split level SFD, heavy fire first floor living room side "A." The neighbor on scene attempting to extinguish with garden hose reports occupant(s) not home but numerous pets inside the house. The first due engine (Westampton Fire Department Squad 2723) laid in 5 inch LDH and led off with a 2 inch preconnect. All companies placed "In Service" by Eastampton Deputy (3410). Responding on the box were Westampton (2 engines), Eastampton, Lumberton and Mt. Holly (Ladder). Mount Laurel Fire Department in for cover.
