Trenton (Mercer)--A late afternoon fire destroyed a vacant house on Pennsylvania Ave. in the City of Trenton today (Nov.3rd). Heavy fire was reported by arriving units, but due to the building be listed on the hazardous structure list, firefighters were prevented from entering the building and attacked the blaze from the exterior only.
The vacant structure was attached to a home reported to be occupied. Both houses suffered extensive damage and there were no reported injuries. The fire was brought under control in 30 minutes.
